Porcelain Veneers

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. “Veneers” are custom made.  They are both durable and beautiful.  Dr. Marley may recommend veneers to restore fractures or other defects in your teeth.

When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to stains. For strength and appearance, sometimes a porcelain veneer is the most sensible and conservative restorative option.

Dr. Marley abides by a conservative approach to treatment.  While he may use veneers to meet specific restorative goals, he generally does not broadly recommend full sets of veneers.
